My outfit of the month: April Kaki suit

Du Kaki en Avril

En français, on dit "En avril, ne te découvre pas d'un fil" et cette expression n'est pas anodine. On a tendance a rapidement laisser les manteaux et les écharpes quand un petit rayon de soleil pointe le bout de son nez. Moi ? Que nenni... Je garde mes bottes et mes manches longues !

In French, we say "En avril, ne te découvre pas d'un fil" (In April, don't even get out of one thread, which is the equivalent of the English "Ne'er cast a clout 'til May be out). We tend to quickly leave our coats and scarfs behind when a tiny ray of sun takes its toll. Me ? Absolutely not... I'm keeping my boots and my long sleeves !

J'adore les combinaisons, mais elles peuvent s'avérer difficiles à porter pour certaines femmes. La combinaison fait partit de ces must-have avec lesquels tout le monde n'est pas forcément à l'aise.

I love jumpsuits, but they can be tricky to wear for some women. Jumpsuits are part of those must-have that everybody is not surely comfortable with.

Février en robe vichy bleue

Je fais partie de ces gens trop occupés à profiter de la vie pour planifier correctement son shoot pour la tenue du mois, et qui se retrouve à faire ses photos le seul jour où il n'y a plus de soleil et où un début de pluie pointe son nez au Brésil à Rio de Janeiro... Ahahah ! Sans rancune le soleil ! J'en ai bien profité alors je ne vais pas me plaindre.

I am one of these people too busy enjoying life to plan correctly a photoshoot for the outfit of the month, and who finds herself making the shoot during the only day sun decides to hide itself and where the rain shows up in Brazil, Rio de Janeiro... Ahahah! No hard feelings sunshine! I enjoyed it so much that I ain't going to complain.

My outfit of the month : December holidays outfit + CONTEST

J'adore le mois de Décembre ! Déjà parce que c'est le mois de mon anniversaire, mais aussi parce les fêtes de fin d'année sont des occasions de passer du temps en famille. Je profite de la neige de New York pour vous montrer la tenue que je compte mettre demain soir !

I love December! Firstly because it's my birthday month, but also because the holiday season is an occasion to spend family time. I 'm enjoying the snow in New York to show you the outfit I plan to wear tomorrow evening!

Le choix du maillot de bain peut s'avérer comme étant une épreuve quand on est ronde. Les complexes sont à la vue de tous et on se sent alors complètement à nu face aux autres. 

The choice of a bathing suit can be a struggle when you're curvy. The complexes are visible to anybody and we tend to feel completely naked in front of others.

You may think it's a bit risqué to rock a short dress during Fall ? Not really ! There is still some sunbeam in Paris so I'm enjoying it at the max !

Vous voulez la vérité ? Avec le challenge French Curves de l'été qui a été publié hier, je voulais faire une pierre deux coups avec ma tenue du mois... Mais je veux être plus régulière et si je me trouve déjà des prétextes à seulement trois post pour ma tenue du mois, c'est pas gagné. Alors me voici, en maillot de bain, pour la deuxième fois consécutive sur le blog !!!

You want the truth ? With the French Curves summer challenge I posted yesterday, I wanted to kill two birds with one stone for it to be my outfit of the month too... But hey, I wanted to be more regular regarding my outfits and if I'm already looking for excuses  with only three posts about my outfit of the month,  well we haven't won yet. So here I am, in a bathing suit, for the second consecutive time on the blog !!!

On dirait du vintage à cause des pois, mais revue au goût du jour avec cette coupe qui dénude les épaules...

Looks like vintage because of the polka dots, but restyle with today's trend because of the cut-outs that reveal the shoulders...

La Robe Patineuse en dentelle du mois de mai !

J'ai beaucoup de hauts et de robes qui imitent le style de la dentelle, quand j'ai vu cette robe chez Dorothy Perkins en magasin fin 2014 lors d'un séjour à Londres pour le boulot, impossible de résister !

I have plenty of lace-like tops and dresses, when I saw this dress at Dorothy Perkins in a London store by the end of 2014 during a business trip, can't resist !
