La Marinière

The Striped Sailor Shirt

Du vêtement de bagnard, en passant par l'uniforme de la Marine Nationale, la marinière est aujourd'hui une pièce indémodable et indispensable à notre garde-robe. Revisité par de nombreux couturiers, on trouve de nos jours une multitude de styles et de coloris. N'ayant pas voulu rester dans les codes, j'ai opté pour ce haut de chez Ashley Stewart aux rayures horizontales qui rappelle le style de la marinière. 

From convict clothing, to Navy uniform, the striped sailor shirt (in french La Marinière) is today a timeless must-have of our wardrobe. Restyle by many couturiers, we now have infinite possibilities regarding styles and colors. As I did not want to stay traditional, I choose this top from Ashley Stewart with horizontal stripes which remind us the sailor style.

J'aime beaucoup les bordures en sequin de ce haut, j'ai choisis un accessoire qui fait rappelle à la matière de mon look avec cette pochette de chez New Look.

I really love the sequined edges of this top, I choose to accessorize my look with a reminder of the fabric thanks to this clutch bag from New Look. 

Non, vous ne rêvez pas, je porte bien un Legging en simili cuire qui vient aussi de chez Ashley Stewart. Le tout accompagné de ma paire de talon Pink & Pepper.

No, you're not dreaming, I'm really wearing a leatherette leggings which is also from Ashley Stewart. And my Pink & Pepper pump to go with my outfit.
