Le but

Cet évenement a pour sujet principale la beauté de la femme noire. Nous avons toute une diva qui sommeille en nous, seulement comment la réveiller ? Ceci s'adresse à toutes celles qui souhaitent apprendre comment se mettre en valeur grâce que ça soit cheveux, maquillage ou soins.

The goal

This event is about black women's beauty. We all have a diva in us, but how to bring her out ? It concerns every women who want to learn how to make themselves the most, thanks to hair, make up and care.

C'est aussi l'occasion d'y découvrir les différentes marques présentes en l’occurrence la marque capillaire Aménaïde,  la box Brown Essentielles, la marque capillaire Design Essentials et les soins du visage Nuhanciam. Les représentants seront là pour répondre à vos questions et vous conseiller.

The brands

It's also the occasion to discover several brands which will be there, like the hair brand Aménaïde  the Brown Essentielles box, Design Essentials hair brand and the Nuhamciam face care brand. Eash representatives will be here to answer your questions and advise you.

✄ Hair Event : Le RDV des tifettes #1 - Flatiron ?

J'ai participer au premier ateliers de la facebookeuse (ouèè j'invente des termes) Nos Tifs Défrisés aka La Mère Tifette !

I participated in the very first workshop of the "face booker" (yes i'm inventing words) Nos Tifs Défrisés (Our Relaxed Hair) !

Son atelier avait pour but de montrer sa technique de lissage et d'aider les débutantes niveau routine.

Her workshop had the purpose to show her flatiron technic and help newbies with hair journey.

Nos Tifs étant une adepte du lissage, elle adapte de routine à son lissage afin de ne pas en faire pâtir ses cheveux. Contrairement à beaucoup, elle est à la recherche du très lisse et non du volume.

Nos Tifs being devoted to smooth hair, she adapted her hair journey to her use of the flatiron, in order to preserve her hair from it. Unlike lots of people, she's seeking very smooth and non thick hair.

Et bien sûr quelques produits à prix réduits nous attendaient !!!

And for sur some products with reduce prices were waiting for us !!!!

Que retenir de cette journée ? Toujours utiliser un protecteur de chaleur avant d'en utiliser, que ça soit fer à lisser ET sèche-cheveux !

What to retain from this day ? Always use a heat protectant before using heat, whether it's flat iron AND dryer !!!

✄ Hair Event : Beauty party by Activilong

Comme vous le savez, j'ai participé au concours organisé par la marque capillaire Activilong "A la rechercher de la nouvelle Bloggeuse Activilong" afin de me donner un coup de fouet durant ma période de blasée. La grande gagnante de ce concours est NaturalBBdiamond dont je vous invite à suivre la chaîne YT. Afin de remettre son prix à la gagnante nous avons été invité à une beauty party au showroom. Nous avons appris à nous connaitre et nous avons beaucoup rigolé !!!

Beauty Party by Activilong

As you know, I participate to a contaste organized by the hair brand Activilong "Looking for the new Activilong blogger" in order to crack the whip during my lazy time. The great winner of the contest is NaturalBBdiamond of which I'm inviting to to follow on YT. In order to give her her price, we've been invited to a beauty party in  Activilong's showroom. We learnt about each other and have a lot of fun !!!

✔ Challenge : Résolutions 2012 : Mise à jour n°3// The 2012 Resolutions Challenge: Update #3

Oh la la.... Je suis en retard !!! Oh my... I'm late !!!

Ooops !!!

Quoi de neuf ? En effet pour quelqu'un qui était sensé faire une mise à jour par mois, voir plus, et bin c'est VRAIMENT loupé lol ! Voici quelques mises à jour concernant mars 2012 !!!!

What's up ? Yes in fact, for someone who was suppodes to make on update by month, even more, well this is an EPIC fail lol ! Here are the updates for march 2012 !!!

Mars // March

Je suis devenue marraine // I became a godmother ^_^

 Le mois de mars a été un peu fade pour moi niveau résolution, MAIS j'ai eu la chance de passer un week end détente avec des hair loveuses !!! Le UpWeekEnd#2 organisé par la réseau UpgradeMe. Cela consiste en un week end de détente à Center Parc durant lequel on se détend au maximum (Hammam, Sauna...) on teste des produits en tout genre (pour ma part Activilong et Oyin) et où on partage et échange entre fille ! 

Our house of the week end !

March was kind of bland for me regarding my resolution, BUT I had the chance to spend a relaxing week end with some hair lover !!! The UpWeekEnd#2 organized by UpgradeMe network. This is a relaxing week end in Center Parc during which we relax (Sauna, Hammam), we try products (Oyin,Activilong...) and we share with eachother.

 

Conclusion

Comme vous avez pu le remarquer, pas grand chose niveau résolution lol....

J'ai assisté le Dimanche 1er Avril 2012 à la première "Natural Hair Academy - Paris". Je ne mentirais pas, au début je me suis un peu sentie "pas à ma place" et voyant toutes ces magnifiques chevelures naturelles, toutes aussi différentes et unique les unes que les autres. Mais bon, où est le problème ? Ce n'est pas parce que je suis défrisée que l'entretien du cheveux naturel ne m'intéresser pas ! Après tout mon entourage est varié et qui sait, peut être qu'un jour moi aussi je retournerai au naturel ??

On Sunday, April 1st 2012, I assist the first "Natural Hair Academy - Paris. I won't lie, at first I was feeling like "out of place" by seeing all of these beautiful women with their amazing natural hair, all of the kind of hair by being at the same time one of the king of woman. Where is the trouble ? It's not because my hair is relaxed that I don't care of natural hair care ! After all, my circle is very large and diversify, and who knows, maybe on day I'll go back to natural hair too ??

Felicia Leatherwood

Felica est une coiffeuse de star ! Elle a notamment eu l'occasion de s'occuper de la chevelure naturelle de Jill Scott. D'après Felicia, s'occuper des cheveux naturels tourne autour du chiffre 3. En effet ce que je viens de dire n'a aucun sense ! Laissez moi vous expliquer son point de vue !

* 3 shampooing :
Oui, vous avez bien lu, c'est le nombre de shampooing qu'il est nécessaire d'effectuer pour avoir les cheveux réellement propre ! Vous pensez que cela fait beaucoup ? Explication :
- Le premier shampooing soulèvera les saletés de votre cuire chevelu.
- Le deuxième enlèvera une partie des saletés.
- Le troisième vous débarrassera de tout ce qu'il reste en saleté !
Vous trouvez toujours que ça fait beaucoup ? Peut être, cependant je vous invite à essayer et à comparer :)

*3 solutions contre les tempes dégarnies :
- Organic Root Simulator Temple Balm
- Jane Carter Solution Scalp Nourishing Serum
- Jamaican Black Castor Oil
Utiliser l'un des 3 produits 2 fois par jour, pendant 6 à 8 semaines afin d'avoir des résultats.

Très sympatique et pleine d'énergie, je n'ai pas pu vraiment parler avec elle (oui j'ai été intimidée :$ ), mais je vous invite à suivre son blog qui est entré dans mes favoris.

I met the blogger Cassidy Blackweel from Naturalselectionblog, that I discover when I eared she'll be there. She's very nice and full of energy, I did not get a chance to talk to her (yes I'm kinda shy :$ ), but I'm inviting you to follow her blog whish is now one of my favorite.

Nous avons eu le privilège de découvrir les effets des produits de la marques sur les cheveux naturels et surtout nous avons eu plus d'information sur la façon dont ces derniers s'utilisent ! Les modèles étaient toutes aussi ravissantes les une que les autres.

We had the privilege to discover the effect of the brand's products on natural hair and moreother we now have more information about how to use these one. The models were each hugely beautiful than the last.

Les différentes textures naturelles.

J'ai appris beaucoup sur les cheveux naturels, cette rencontre m'a même donné envie de re-sauter le pas (Pour celles qui ne le savent pas, j'ai été naturelle au lycée, mais comme je ne savais pas comment définir mes boucles, j'ai fait un permanent bouclé, un curl comme on dit, pour ensuite retourner au défrisage lors que j'ai eu plus de longueur)...En effet, aujourd'hui encore je rêve de belles boucles naturelles bien définit, mais je ne suis pas sûre de vouloir passer par les cases transition et big chop...

I learnt a lot abour natural hair, this meeting also make me want to ga back to natural hair (for those who don't know, I was natural in high school, but I did not know how how to define my curls, so I did a curly perm to then go back to relaxed hair when my hair got longer)... Indeed, today I still dream about beautiful well-defined natural curls, but I'm not sure about going back to transition and big chop again...

 


J'ai fait la découverte d'une brosse intéressante que Felicia a présentée. Cette brosse a la particularité de suivre le mouvement des cheveux et donc d'éviter la casse. J'ai trouvé le concept pas mal ! Il me semble que le prix tourne autour de $10, elle est même prête à effectuer des envoies pour nous peuple français ! La classe !

I discover an interesting brush presented by Felicia. This brush has the characteritic to follow the move of your hair and so to avoid breakage. I found it good ! I think the price is around $10, she was even ready to send them to french people ! Nice !

Bien sûr, nous ne sommes pas repartis les mains vides ! J'ai pu tester l'effet du Curl Defining Cream sur cheveux défrisés : résultats de jolies ondulations qui restent bien hydratées ! Je pense que la prochaine fois je l'utiliserai pour définir un twist-out ou un braid-out. 
Je remercie Belle Ebène pour cette initiative et toutes celles avec qui j'ai pu passer un bon moment, malgré le fait que je sois défrisée !

For sure, we did not leave with empty hands ! I had the occasion to try Curl Defining Cream on relaxed hair : I got well moistured nice waves ! I think I'll try it again next time to define a twist out or a braid out ! 
I'd like to thank Belle Ebène for this initiative and every women with whom I spent a really great time, even if I'm relaxed.
